- Curator's comments
- Tetsuwan Atom is a classic in the history of Japanese manga and animation. Tezuka Osamu produced his narrative, relating the adventures of the eponymous robot and other characters, from 1952 to 1968. In anime form and translated into English as Atom Boy, the character became one of the first Japanese manga characters to gain international recognition.
