- Curator's comments
- U Min Kyaw Zwa is a nat spirit associated with drinking, cock-fighting, and horse-back riding. Hence, the bottle in his hand, the horse by his side, and the roosters at his feet in this portrait. U Min Kyaw Zwa is one of the pantheon of thirty-seven nat spirits who are propitiated in Burma.
