Baluster teapot, with a spout and handle and flat cover with a knob. Made in porcelain painted in black enamel with a peony with touches of gold; the veins of the leaves are incised. (A simpler version of the 1913 teapot). On the other side there is an inscription; badashan ren is commemorated on the cover and on the front of the flat spout there is a stylised character longevity shou. Base. Oval seal with the name Chen Xinfa that also uses English with some of the letters backwards?
