Round teapot with a curved spout, round handle with a flat button on the top, and domed cover with a button knob. Made in porcelain decorated with a coloured transfer-printed scene from Story of the Stone and the slogan “Freedom in marriage”; two ladies in a garden seated beside plum trees in blossom, with a fence and the figure of a woman at a window to the right. On the other side is a single small transfer of flowers. Base glazed with a seal.
