Cylindrical teapot with curved spout, two ring attachments on the shoulder for the double metal handles. Made in porcelain, the white glaze has a celadon cast, painted in bold coloured enamels with Communist motifs: a large red cog and sheaves of wheat joined into a circle; inside the circle is a brown hammer and sickle, with a red star on the left and a white dove on the right. Large inscription in four red characters. On the other side is another inscription. Cover missing. Base with unglazed outer ring and glazed centre with a faint round red seal.
