- Curator's comments
- From an unusually large group of seventeen postcards showing daily life in the Japanese navy, from the perspective of ordinary sailors. They are more light-hearted than other forms of official propaganda. Notwithstanding, each card has ‘Military Post’ (Gunji yūbin 軍事郵便) stamped on the verso.
