Design for a very grand classical style urn with peacock handles. The body of the vessel is densely decorated with vegetal scrolling with, set in the scrolling, three large linked medallions. The central medallion (the only one fully visible and fully worked) bears an image of a huntsman on horseback spearing a lion. The handles have makara terminals with peacocks on top. Footed.
Pencil on thin drafting paper, mounted on thicker cartridge paper. A stamp is visible on the reverse.
