Colour woodblock print, oban tate-e. Nakamura Utaemon IV as Tennichi-bo in a multi-coloured patterned robe with Bando Shuka I as Akoya in a light blue floral robe in the play 'Kotoba no hana momiji no yozakari' (詞花紅成盛) peformed at the Ichimura theatre in the eighth month of 1849 (Kaei 2).
