- Curator's comments
- The dark, thick lines, texture strokes, and thin ink wash reflect mid-Joseon (16th-17th century) style ink painting. Mid-Joseon ink paintings illustrate the melding of An Kyeon (c. 15th century) style and contemporary Chinese Ming dynasty Zhe School painting.
