Miniature betel box with two internal trays. Made of woven (plaited basketry) and coiled split bamboo and lacquer, and decorated, in the yun technique, in red and green and using a simple form of the ku-nan kan-byat design on the lid (top and sides). The interiors all covered in a plain red lacquer coating. The base decorated with a 'basketry' design, in green and the sides of the drum bearing a simple scrolling design in red on green - all done in yun. Upper tray still bears some signs of lime.
