Jug, of European shape, made of split bamboo and lacquer; the body woven and the handle coiled. The interior has a dull red lacquer covering, while the exterior is decorated in the yun technique with flowers, on a black ground. The flowers are in white, though most of the interiors of the flowers have added blue or pink lacquer. The flowers, which are crudely executed, are set on a hatched background. The base of the vessel is a glossy black lacquer.
