A betel box made of woven and lacquered split bamboo and decorated in the yun (incised) technique in yellow and silver on a black ground. On the top of the lid is the Eight days of the week motif; on the side of the lid are the twelve months; on the side of the base are six chinthes (mythical lions). Inscribed.

- The pale metallic decoration of silvery appearance may be aluminium powder introduced at the Pagan Lacquer Craft Training School in 1925.
