Miniature betel box with no internal trays. Made of woven and coiled split bamboo and lacquer. The lacquer decoration is in the yun technique and uses pink on black. The interior colouring is red (drum interior is browner than the the lid interior - perhaps the former has been relacquered). Lid slightly cracked.
