Shan betel box of lacquered, woven bamboo with a yun (incised) pattern of soldiers, horses, birds, buildings, and chariots on the lightly domed lid. A 9 cm band on the wall of the box has a similar military scene. The interior of the box has two shallow trays that have red interiors and brown exteriors. There is a black and gilded reversible tray with a red interior.
