Betel box made of woven and lacquered split bamboo, decorated with relief work in thayo (lacquer putty), and inlaid with glass and gilded. Such decoration is called hmanzi-shwecha. The decoration includes scenes in high relief from the Sama Jataka, one of the previous lives of the Buddha.
