- Description
-
Small betel box, now with no internal trays, made of woven and coiled split bamboo and decorated with lacquer, internally and on the base in plain red, and on the exterior including the lid, in red and black, in the yun (engraved) technique. The yun design is perhaps meant to be imitation snake/lizard skin. The lid is rather loose-fitting and may never have actually belonged to the base.
