Betel box of woven and lacquered bamboo and decorated in the yun (incised ) technique in pink, yellow, and black. There are two internal trays. The outer face of the cover is decorated with the Eight Days of the Week motif (naga, rat, tusked elephant, tuskless elephant, chinthe, tiger, guinea pigs, Garuda). The top is decorated with mythical beast, possibly a samari. The images are identifed by the day of the week and the name of the animal with which they are associated, and the lid identifies the workshop. Inscribed.
