A pen and ink drawing with coloured washes of a small settlement with houses and larger buildings, a bridge over a small river and a river boat with mast and furled sail. Inscribed and dated.
On the reverse is a pencil drawing of a group of European (?) soldiers, two seated and one lying reading, head on his pack sack.
