'Tachi' (early thirteeenth century) signed by Yoshikane with a distinctive 'koshizori' curve lowering towards the point and with the 'fumbari' (stability) typical of the Heian and early Kamakura periods. This blade has 'itame hada' with 'utsuri' and 'jinie'. The 'hamon' is 'suguha' in 'nie' with many variations of 'komidare' and with 'uchinoke', 'sunagashi' and 'kinsuji'. Yoshikane was a representative smith of the early Bizen (Ko Bizen) school.
