Various landscapes (mainly around Edo) and figure subjects (some historical, some genre) are painted on circular, fan-, kidney-and octagon-shaped papers and were probably originally stuck scattered over folding screens or sliding doors as interior decoration. The diamond-shaped seal of the stylised character 'shige' was used by both Hiroshige I and Hiroshige II, but the broad, large figure style and jaunty colouring with accents of brilliant blue and green suggest Hiroshige II, working during the period after Hiroshige I's death, before he moved to Yokohama (c. 1859-65). The subjects are drawn from the standard Hiroshige repertoire and the paintings briskly but pleasingly done. Each is inscribed by the artist with a title, listed as follows:

本作品はさまざまな風景(多くは江戸周辺)と人物(歴史人物や風俗)を主題として、円型、扇型、団扇型、八角形の紙に描かれている。もともとは室内装飾として屏風か襖に貼り交ぜてあったものであろう。菱形印は「重」の字を意匠化したもので、初代広重も二代広重も使用した。しかしながら大柄でぽってりした人物の表現や、鮮やかな青と緑をアクセントにした色使いから二代広重と思われる。彼は安政6年から慶応元年頃、初代広重没後から横浜へ移るまで二代広重として活動した。題材は標準的な広重のレパートリーから選ばれ、作品は略筆だが好ましいものである。それぞれに画家が題を記している。以下に列挙する。
