Large square lidded box of red, green, yellow and black lacquer, decorated in tianqi technique with fruit, flowers and conch shell on lid, and birds, flowers and rocks round the sides. Black interior, large crack and eight character Wanli （萬曆）mark. Made of lacquered and colour inlaid wood.
