This long and broad-bodied blade is 'shinogi zukuri' with a shallow curve, and has a large 'kissaki'. The 'bohi' grooves taper away in 'kakinagashi' style. The long tang has one hole and the file marks are 'kesho' with 'sujigai'. The tang tip is 'kurijiri'. The 'jigane' is 'koitame' and has coarse patches. The 'hamon' is 'gunome' in 'nie' with 'ashi', and overall 'sunagashi'. The 'boshi' is 'midare komi' and 'komaru'. The finish of the tang is unsophisticated, and the maker of this sword is an unrecorded smith unlikely to be related to the famous Suishinshi Masahide.
