- Curator's comments
- This work may have been made in Europe in 18th-19th century or in Kyoto in the 19th century as a copy of a European ware. A line of brown was applied to the vessels's surface as decoration, and cobalt blue decorative spots are also visible. It was obviously created in a kiln with access to coblat blue technology.
