- Utagawa sits learning the words of a new Ogie school song, while Mamasato is about to write a verse about the blossoming cherry onto a narrow poem-card (tanzaku). Her robe is decorated with vignette scenes from the classical novel of courtly life 'Tale of Genji'. (Label copy, TTC, 1999.)
