- Curator's comments
- The Hour of the Goat is about 2pm. On the far left is a wrapping cloth on which is placed a book and some divining sticks (keichu), suggesting the presence outside the print of a fortune-teller (hakke-mi). The 'shinzo' reads the palm of the child-servant (kamuro). (Label copy, TTC 2000)
