Fragment of a painted frontispiece to the apocryphal Ten Kings of Hell Sutra, showing a donor, identified as Shantongzi by the inscription in the cartouche, holding a scroll, and part of the text. Another fragment from the same frontispiece (OA 1919,0101,0.78) shows Avalokiteśvara and Kṣitigarbha. Ink and colour on paper.
