- Curator's comments
- Dallapiccola 2010:
This painting is from a collection of forty-two opaque watercolour paintings on mica (1913,0208,0.37-78). The paintings are of plants depicted against a low buff foreground and uncoloured background. The collection was originally bound in four albums which have since been unbound and the individual paintings have been removed and remounted. The identification of the plants was assisted by Dr H. J. Noltie, Royal Botanic Garden, Edinburgh.
