Here we see Oboshi Rikiya, the son of the hero Oboshi Yuranosuke, who has come to the Momoi Palace on an official errand, meeting with his sweetheart Konami, daughter of Kakogawa Honzo, chief councillor of the Momoi family. He looks to be handing over a sword. The figure watching over the pair from behind the sliding door is Honzo.
