This is the third of the set of triptychs on the 'Snow, Moon and Flowers' theme done by Hiroshige in his last year. The 'flowers' are the foam of the whirlpool rapids at Naruto in Awa, between the islands of Awaji and Shikoku. The latter is in the distance. The signature is 'The brush of Hiroshige'.
