Colour woodblock print, oban diptych. The actors (right) Ichikawa Ebizo V as Kanpei, and Onoe Kikugoro III as Okaru, in Act VI (六段目) of ‘Kanadehon Chushingura’ (仮名手本忠臣蔵) by Takeda Izumo II, Miyoshi Shoraku and Namiki Senryu; performed at the Kawarasaki-za in the 3rd month of 1833 (Tenpo 4).
