Plate 2 from a set of sixteen engravings of Qianlon's campaign against the Miao; a victory over the Miao by the Chinese in Hunan under Fuh K'ang-an in 1795; mountainous landscape with Chinese cavalry in foreground to right and in background to left, Chinese infantry attacking and burning a Miao village whose inhabitants are on the ground or attempt to flee.
