Box. Landscape. Made of lacquer. With writing equipment: in top tray, agate brush-washer, green ink-stone, ink-cake with mark, red seal ink-stick, carved jade scroll-weight, bamboo (?) writing-brush, triple metal magnifying glass with ivory handle, agate (?) snuff-bottle on cord, carved stone (?) duck, cornelian flower, jade (?) pea-pod, smoky black quartz carved bat, ivory tusk in gilt mount on cord; in 2nd tray: 3 paper cut-outs (brush-washer and figures); in 3rd tray: agate carving of child with cat, glass bottle with mark, tortoise-shell telescopic eyeglass in leather case on cord with bead, gold (?) ladle, 5 agate (?) animal-shaped seals, weiqi piece, 2 pewter (?) silver (?) containers with perforated tops and lids, 32-piece chess-set made of shell (?). Beneath last tray: stone seal, jade carving with vases, leather and metal pouch with floral textile cover with cord and bead, white stone carved plaque with rabbit, agate carving of old man (Daoist Immortal?), carved open-work artefact.
