E. Errington: This casket is associated with a British Museum label inscribed 'Masson Coll./I.M.Metal Objects 125-126, 2 cylindrical silver boxes with lids', and with 1880.3527, although it lacks a lid. However, Masson's description and sketch of the Passani finds includes '2 small silver boxes, 1 without cover' (Uncat. MSS, Bundle 1b).
See also 1880.3527.
