Watercolour painting on paper of Priyavrata, the son of Manu and Satarupa. He is shown seated on a raised platform decorated with floral designs and gold. His legs are crossed and he rests his hands on his knees. He wears a large amount of jewellery at his ears, neck, arms and ankles. He wears a red dhoti with a golden shawl over his shoulders. A large gold crown with a surrounding halo of golden rays, rests on his head. Placed in front of him on the platform is a bow. The painting is surrounded by a black border.
