Gem of glass paste imitating amethyst, engraved with the Judgement of Paris: on the left is Paris seated on a rock beneath a tree, surrounded by his flock. He is addressed by Hermes, with petasos and caduceus. Behind him are Athena with a helmet, shield and spear, Hera with a sceptre, and a nude Aphrodite. In the exergue are pan-pipes and a shepherd's crook.
