A woman's headscarf; square and made from one loom-width of cream-coloured silk tabby woven cloth. Each corner has an identical motif: seven flower heads above a stem and two large leaves. Each edge has nineteen leaf-shaped motifs. The decoration is worked in fine gold-coloured metal-wrapped thread, with the addition of some sequins. Two lines of small holes around each motif, evidence of machine (?) stitching on a folded scarf. Some staining.
