A cushion cover, squarish in shape. Made from one piece of commercially manufactured cotton fabric. It has bands of predominantly red geometric patterning, with some black and white, worked in weft faced tabby weave. The reverse has four black and red bands in a cream 'ground'. The opening slit is near one end on the reverse: where the warp ends have been turned and machine stitched.
