Hammock composed of two widths of warp faced plain woven dyed black and yellow cotton warps and dyed beige and black cotton wefts. This combination of warps and wefts is used to create a series of warp bands flanked by alternating yellow and black warp stripes and consisting of blocks of black, beige and yellow weft stripes. The warp wedges of the hammock are decorated with yellow and red dyed cotton tassels. The warp ends are finished by twisting the lengths together which are then looped and wrapped with either dyed brown, yellow or red cotton to form loops for hanging the hammock from a frame.
