A circular silver box in two parts with engraved decoration on top and bottom, containing a set of four counters of stamped copper, with a plating of zinc, and a very thin plating of gold on top. The obverses are identical with a head of Lord Nelson and an inscription. The reverses have different inscriptions celebrating his naval victories. The interior of the box has hallmarks and a maker's mark.
