Copper alloy shield-shaped base of a statuette, with rounded recesses at either end and in the middle of either side, inscribed round the rim. The statuette has broken off, except for the stump of a right foot which resembles a horse's hoof and suggests an equestrian statuette. An oval marks the site of a left foot. The foeman, now headless, lies on his back.
