Feather cape, trapezoidal in shape, consisting of a groundwork of olona fibre netting on which the feathers are attached. Along the top runs a stout cord of olona fibre. The lower part of the cape consists of a central panel of white cocks' feathers with bands of black feathers both above and below and broad bands of golden brown bantam feathers at each side. The upper part consists of a broad band of crimson [Himatione sanguinea?] feathers in bad condition, fixed upon a strip of thin matting.
