Woman's short-sleeved jacket (taqsireh) made of deep red felted woollen broadcloth (jukh). Elaborately couched with cords of yellow, green and purple silk cord. Embroidered with silk satin-stitches in pinks, green, purple, white and blues. Heavy embroidery on the front, shoulders, cuffs and back. The jacket is lined on the inside with a peach and green chequered cotton fabric which is probably European in origin.Worn over a long-sleeved dress.
