2008,8013.1 (Front - After Conservation 2). Copper-alloy strap-end: long, hollow, tongue -shaped and made of two sheets joined by an edging strip; decorated on both sides, side (a) with Style II animal interlace, its head facing the top and two limbs on either side of its ribbon-like body which has countour lines and groups of incisions extending part way across the 'ribbon'; side (b) may show two serpents in a ribbon interlace knot consisting of two roughly figure-of-eight loops with oval rings round their centres and similar groups of incisions; a row of pellets in a narrow band across the top of each side and two attachment rivets.
