Bronze lamp raised form sheet metal to form an incurved bowl with four cardinally-placed wick-rests. The rim is formed by a flat broad ring of cast bronze, attached by four rivets and bridging the nozzles. The flattened underside was attached to the upper part of a stand by three rivets, two of which remain. A large area of the lamp is lost and has been restored recently.
