Cloth composed of 10 narrow strips hand sewn together selvedge to selvedge. There are three different narrow strip patterns: 1. Plain weave: bleached white and dyed pink warps cotton and wefts. This combination of warps and wefts is used to create a single pink warp stripe flanked by two white warp stripes crossed at regular intervals by groups of pink weft stripes. 2. Plain weave: dyed pink, yellow and grey cotton warps and dyed blue cotton wefts. This combination of warps and wefts is used to create alternating stripes of pink and yellow/grey. 3. Plain weave: dyed grey, blue, pink, yellow and bleached white cotton warps and dyed blue and bleached white cotton wefts. This combination of warps and wefts is used to create a series of groups of warp stripes in the colours above which are crossed at regular intervals by groups of white weft stripes. The textile is unhemmed.
