Skull-cap (hula cap) composed of two sections of plain woven dyed blue cotton hand sewn together with dyed black cotton. The cap is divided into sections by embroidered stripes in dyed red and yellow cotton containing patterns formed from small squares. The centre of cap consists of a central embroidered circle in bleach white cotton with a dyed black cotton outline. The top of the cap is finished with a ‘knot.’
