Round cap composed of three sections of cotton. The outer layer of the cap consists of machine plain woven dyed blue cotton the body of which is lined with natural cotton coloured plain hand woven cotton. The body of the cap is heavily embroidered in white and light blue cotton leaving a ‘chain’ pattern in negative leaving the blue ground fabric exposed. The top of the cap is gathered with lengths of cotton which have been sewn in and pulled.
