Plate 1; landscape showing a polygonal tower surmounted by three small turrets, forming a corner of a castle with a house in the shelter of the walls to left, seen across a stretch of water with many boats and figures, including women driving laden mules down a road along the shore and a man playing a harp in the foreground, attended by a woman who stands knitting, carrying a child on her back and a little girl holding a basket of eggs sitting to right, pointing at a space on the rock on which the harpist sits, which is inscribed 'Twelve Views in North & South Wales No D'; with title in light filled letters, publication line, engraver's name and plate number. 1786 Etching and aquatint
