Red figured pottery pelike depicting, A: Nude youth seated on raised ground to the right with drapery underneath, holding a myrtle branch in his right hand from which hangs a yellow taenia and in his left hand a phiale containing fruits and flowers, confronting him is a female figure, holding out a wreath in left hand and an embroidered taenia in her right hand, above a window, a rosette and phiale, below a pomegranate; B: Two ephebi confronted, each with himation over left shoulder, sandals and a staff, on the left a ball and between them a window; marked on the neck, A: rosettes and dots, B: laurel wreath; underneath the handles palmettes and below the design all round a wave pattern; white and yellow accessories.
