(see general notes), depicting, A: Female figure, perhaps Aphrodite, seated to the left with her flesh painted yellow, holding up a mirror in her right hand and on her left side a cista, before her is Eros moving to the left and looking back, with his hair in a knot and flesh painted yellow, wings red; B: Female figure seated to the right, holding her drapery with her right hand and in her left a cista resting on her knee, before her is nude female figure holding out her left hand; marked with moulded heads of Amazons in Phrygian caps painted white on either side of the handles and underneath the handles with palmettes; yellow and deep red accessories; coarse style.
